8-Bit Beans

The best part of pinball? Winning a few free games(replays) and gifting them to a few children much younger than myself so they can enjoy a few games on the house!! Stacey and the team at 8-bit do a fantastic job of maintaining an authentic arcade experience that brings back the feels and nostalgia with the sight and sound of everything that makes those games such fond memories. As a pinball machine owner/restorer, I was impressed to see Stacey's games playing bang on, fair, and accurate - snappy flippers, switches that all register, all lights/leds on the playfield inserts were lighting up when they should and the overall maintenance of the games were top-tier. Godzilla premium is on-location and working flawlessly. Thanks for the amazing time, my kid had a blast and those nostalgic memories will live on thru her eyes as well!

What a fun hidden gem! The staff are very friendly, the food is tasty and the coffee can’t be beat. Plus they’ve got pin ball machines, you literally can’t go wrong!!!

This place has been my hub for YEARS - great espresso martinis (Maya and Stacey - sorry if I spelled wrong!) make a meaaaan espresso martini. Games are great - retro. If you want to chill and have fun I highly suggest coming here. Great addition to DT Whitby! Martini pictured made by Stacey :)

I hosted my son’s 8th birthday party here, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group of 20+ people. The games were a hit, the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, we were extremely happy with both the service and the experience. I highly recommend this place for parties! A huge thank you to the 8 Bit Beans staff for making it such a memorable event.

8-Bit is so fun for a date night or hang with friends. Lots of great games like Crazy taxi, Jaws and Dungeons and Dragons pinball and we can't forget Ms. Pacman. Tonight Stacey and the other employee (wish I had gotten his name) were absolutely awesome! So kind and helpful. Stacey gave a great mocktail recommendation and when we accidentally knocked one of our drinks on the ground, the other employee promptly cleaned up our mess (Thank you, again!). They both gave fun game recommendations and helped us get started on some of them. Drinks and food are super reasonably priced and the whole vibe is just good fun and super nerdy. This was our second time there and we can't wait to go again ❤️ an absolute Whitby gem
