What parents are saying
We had a great time at Creative Insight Pottery! It was a lot of fun, we learned a lot and we can’t wait to see why our pieces look like in 4 weeks. Definitely would do it again!!! Sergio was terrific.
This was a really fun and cool experience. It was so much harder than we could imagine but our teacher was awesome and got us on the right track quickly. Booking was amazing and all the staff were very friendly. I even had to change the class due to an emergency and the staff was super understanding. This was a cool little bucket list item for us and I would recommend this to everyone. We are definitely looking into the full classes when we have more time :)
Hello, The party was superb! Our instructor Lindsay was an excellent teacher. Very patient and encouraging. I think all of my friends were pleasantly surprised how much they enjoyed the experience. I love how the space is bright and full of light and well air conditioned! Cheers.
Absolutely fantastic pottery studio! It's a well stocked, cozy place with awesome instructors and beautiful glazes. I took the 10 week course with Lindsey. She is super knowledgeable and kind. Her guidance helped me create pieces I could have never imagined a beginner could make! Each week I learned a new technique for working with clay, and I could either follow along with the lesson or do my own projects. You're encouraged to bring your own ideas, which I found very rewarding. I ended up making a wine glass, mugs and set of bowls that I use every day. I also created kitchenware and other items as Christmas presents for my family. I loved the beginner course so much that I enrolled again! I spoke with a friend who took a multi-week course at a studio in Toronto. She had nowhere near the amount of technical instruction or creative freedom that this studio allows. She didn't keep any of her pieces, whereas I've kept or gifted all of mine. My boyfriend even commented that he didn't realize I was going to be making professional looking pottery! The pieces that you can make at Creative Insight are going to be so beautiful, even compared to other studios. As for the studio space, they have two floors for classes. The main floor is for beginners and intermediate levels, and the upper floor is for all levels. They have clay sinks for washing tools, and a separate bathroom sink. There are stairs between all floors. The basement has the kiln, bisque shelves and storage for pieces. There's a separate room for member pieces. There's street parking in front of the studio, and a parking lot with many parking spaces behind the studio.
I decided to sign my friends and I up for a pottery class for a girls night out and it was such a fun and memorable experience! Sergio was an amazing instructor and made our experience so easygoing and fun. Thank you for such a memorable night, Sergio! Cannot wait to come back to pay you a visit ❤️
