Great play space for young kids to spend 1–2 hours. It has three halls, each divided into several areas with different themes. The largest hall is divided into five areas, including a miniature market with many realistic, supermarket-style items that closely mimic a real grocery store. We visited on a weekday morning, and it wasn’t busy at all, which was great. The only area for improvement was staff attitude, which could be more welcoming and friendly. They made me wonder if this was a free government run facility, but in reality they charged CA$60 for the hour and half we spent there.

You could definitely tell that this science centre/playplace mash up was slapped together as a bandaid solution for closing the real science centre. Although large in size, this playplace was oddly barren. There were minimal props in each play area and many of the toys appeared worn. The “toddler room” was particularly bad, with only a busy board and a couple foam mats. It was also somewhat dirty. A kid peed on the floor when we were there and they still hadn’t cleaned it up before I left. There was almost no seating. There was one single hard bench in each room. I asked the staff if there was any place to nurse my baby and they looked confused, like they had never even considered supplying a chair/space/anything for that. My toddler and baby did at least have a fun time, though. I definitely won’t return anytime soon. Why was this so expensive?

If you’re looking for a life-changing scientific journey, look no further than the Temporary Science Sensor currently gracing Toronto. I went in expecting a modest little exhibit and instead found… two rooms. TWO. ROOMS. That’s right — a carefully curated, highly efficient scientific experience where you can absorb the entirety of human knowledge in approximately seven minutes. Honestly, museums everywhere should take notes. Why waste time wandering endless galleries when you can simply walk into Room One, say “oh,” proceed to Room Two, say “oh again,” and achieve full intellectual enlightenment before your parking meter expires? The marketing promised an immersive experience, and technically they were correct. I was fully immersed in the feeling of wondering if I had accidentally entered through the exit. Highlights include: • The thrilling moment when you realize you’ve already seen everything. • The suspense of asking yourself, “Wait… is this it?” • The efficiency of a museum visit that leaves plenty of time to go somewhere else afterward. Perfect for people who love science but hate walking, reading, or being inside buildings for more than a few minutes. Five stars for the bold commitment to minimalism. Truly revolutionary.

My kids and I came here because the Sherway location closed down the beginning of January. We were immediately greeted with such great vibes from Maria, Maryam & Tiffany. The sweetest, cutest ladies ever. So polite, patient and friendly. My kids were happy, they enjoyed it and we will definitely be coming back if God wills. You all are stars 💫 God bless you

While the loss of the Ontario Science Centre still stings, this small space brings some of the best interactive exhibits for kids under 10 back to life. From a Veterinarian office to fishing boats to a grocery story to a giant Lite Brite- my kids loved all the exhibits. We’ve been a couple times and we’ve had the entire place largely to ourselves. Really well done, and we plan on going back again.
