INBLACK Escape Room Toronto - Eaton

Absolutely one of the best escape room experiences I’ve had. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. They made the whole experience smooth and welcoming without over-interrupting the gameplay, which is honestly something a lot of places get wrong. What really stood out was how well all the mechanisms worked. Every puzzle triggered cleanly, no broken props, no “this should work but doesn’t” moments — everything felt polished and thoughtfully designed. That alone already puts this place above many others. We played both Detective and Mystery Store, and the storytelling in both rooms was surprisingly strong. • Detective had a very immersive investigative flow, where each clue logically led to the next, making you feel like you were actually solving a real case rather than just doing random puzzles. • Mystery Store had a more creative and slightly unexpected narrative, with clever twists that kept the whole team engaged the entire time. Both rooms balanced difficulty and fun really well — challenging enough to feel rewarding, but never frustrating. Overall, if you’re looking for an escape room with great staff, smooth mechanics, and genuinely engaging storylines, this place absolutely delivers. Would 100% come back again.

My friend and I did the ‘Invisible Eyes’ room at this location and let me tell you, worst escape room I’ve ever done, DO NOT waste your money. This room is advertised as “immersive.” if lots of flashing lights, only one puzzle, awful storyline and terrible AI dialogue is your idea of immersive then they did a fantastic job! Will never be returning to this franchise and will warn other not to go

My friend and I did the Mystery Store escape room and the experience was honestly really frustrating. First, the room is advertised as a 90-minute escape room, which is part of why it costs $60 per person, but it can very easily be completed in under an hour. That already felt misleading for the price. The bigger issue happened during one of the puzzles. A small piece was accidentally dropped and a sensor sticker came off. It wasn’t smashed or mishandled in any way— an accidental drop. After that the puzzle clearly wasn’t working properly. We asked for a hint and followed the instructions we were given, while the staff watched us the entire time on their cameras and still let us keep trying to solve something that clearly wasn’t functioning. Then after we finished the entire room, they told us we would have to pay for the “broken” piece. They even pulled up CCTV footage of the accidental drop, seemingly to imply we were lying about what happened. The sensor sticker had simply come loose—something that looks like it could easily be fixed with a bit of glue. Nothing was handled aggressively or intentionally damaged. Despite that, they said we had to pay $50 (or $25 as a “courtesy”) just “in case” the sensor was broken. On top of that, the hints were poorly communicated, the walkie-talkies were hard to hear through, and we had to ask them to repeat themselves multiple times. Overall the room itself was just okay, but the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional and left a really bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Superb the game was super fun. Joanna she was a very nice host and she was super friendly. The whole vibe was super fun

This is the best Christmas escape room you can visit. Invisible eyes is recommended for beginners and for sure will make your detective side comes to the actual experience.
