What parents are saying
As the founder of a local chess club in Etobicoke, I reached out to Happy Kingdom Indoor Playground to ask if they would consider supporting our youth tournaments with a few prizes. Without hesitation, they said yes - and generously donated Day Passes and Play Cards for our young players. I was truly touched by their willingness to support a community initiative like ours. It means a lot when local businesses are open to helping children beyond their own walls. Happy Kingdom is a bright, modern, and very clean indoor playground with beautiful LED-lit slides, a large ball pit, and plenty of interactive play structures. It’s the kind of place kids get excited about the moment they walk in. Our tournament winners were absolutely thrilled to receive these passes. It made the prizes feel special and memorable. Thank you, Happy Kingdom, for your kindness and community spirit. It really makes a difference. Anna
Great spot. Kids love it. The colour scheme used to be primary solid colours, now its pastel and pink and I suppose its a matter of taste but not my cup of tea nor my son's. Nevertheless, kids love it and parents can socialize- kids are sweaty frrom running so get good exercise. Parties for birthdays are good- the playland is close very close to party rooms. Staff is really great- they are helpful and polite and patient. Definitely will return. Arcade for after and grocery store steps away- good spot. It's $35 for one parent and one child on a Saturday which is steep imo considering you will easily blow anotjer $20 in the arcade which your child will inevitably drag you to if they know it exists.
We visited Happy Kingdom on Sunday, March 8 (which is not a holiday), and we were charged a holiday fee for one of my two daughters. When we pointed out the mistake to the cashier, her response was simply, “It’s only a dollar.” The issue is not the extra dollar... the problem is being charged incorrectly and having it dismissed so casually. It gives the impression that customers are being overcharged deliberately. Very disappointing experience, Happy Kingdom.
This play place is interestingly located inside a building alongside the Nations Experience supermarket. This makes it convenient for parents and caregivers because you can exit for a food or drink break, as well as get some groceries done. There are other eateries and stores in the larger Stockyards complex. There is ample parking; parking lot B is probably the closest. The supermarket and play place are on the upper level. Weekend and holiday (including summer/winter breaks, PA days) pricing is $21.99 for the first child and $20.99 for a sibling. The regular weekday pricing is $18.99 and $17.99, respectively. Accompanying parents are $6.99 each. This is fairly reasonable given the size of the play structures. The play structure is decently clean (not spotless but not super filthy either), and they have multiple slides, ball cannons, climbing areas, interactive projector screens, a ball pit, mini trampoline, and a small toddler area. One caveat is that there's no real supervision. All the workers are at the front, and maybe there are surveillance cameras, but no one physically in the play area itself or actively maintaining order. If you have young children, it would be best to supervise them closely so that they don't get pushed over by bigger or more rowdy kids. There are a couple of washrooms and sinks available, as well as some party rooms. There's a small area for people to sit and bring their own food/drink. The supermarket also has booth/food court seating. The arcade is also reasonably priced; they don't charge too many credits per game, and the kids were able to earn enough points for small prizes. It also makes for more variety in terms of serving kids of all ages.
There is a small toddler area but my 2 year old was relatively capable of navigating alone. There are several slides, balls, tunnels etc to navigate. It kept her busy, I would not bring a 1 year old here as there is not much for them.
