Escape The Ghost Ship

We attended the Toronto location today, the cast was great, the puzzles were the right level of challenge for our "crew." We all really enjoyed the experience and it was well worth the trip for us!

To be honest, I was worried when I saw the size of the ship, and wondered how 3 groups at the same time would work. What I experienced was a unique take on the escape room concept, challenging puzzles, entertaining staff, and a lot of fun! We barely scraped by, with only 4 minutes to spare. It really took a lot of cooperation to escape. There was some issue that prevented us from actually having a moving ship, but we got a discount as a result of that, so I'm not mad about it. Also, Captain Kelly had a QR code on his hat that was totally worth scanning~

This place set us up big time - be warned! My friends and I - 11 of us total- booked about 2 weeks in advance for a birthday party and less than 3 hours before the start of the game, they called to tell us that they have to cancel our booking because there was some “glitch” in the system and there is another event happening. Left us scrambling last minute with zero recourse to find an alternative - pretty challenging with 11 people to organize. Even after writing an email the next day asking for additional compensation, like free tickets, they made it seem like giving us a refund in this situation was some grand gesture, and refused to provide any other compensation to make up for their large blunder that inconvenienced us. Extremely unprofessional place, very disorganized, and poor customer service. Can’t say I won’t go back because I never went in the first place. They don’t deserve a second chance.

barrie location was awful. its not an escape room at all. its a bunch of lame puzzles to unlock different locks. the staff at the end basically wouldnt let us leave unless we tipped. considering this was $50 a person and we had 20 people. not worth the money.

We did the haunted harbor tour. It was very nice and interactive! Thank you guys for making our day memorable! Loved it! 😊
