Whiskful Thinking Bakery

Last week I really felt like getting a nice warm pastry to top up my lunch. It was cold but I wanted it sooooo bad. I needed to make sure that the bakery I chose was a good one. Not knowing a bakery near by I referred to Google. Whiskful Bakery jumped up as a 4.9! So I braved the cold. The atmosphere was ok. The attendant was very knowledgeable about the food that was offered. I chose the raspberry bloom, something I never tried before. I have to say I was a bit disappointed I did not finish it all it really needed more filling and felt like I was just eating doughy bread. With such amazing reviews I was definitely expecting more.

Just had a chocolate mousse (?) cake from here that my mother purchased for my birthday. Best birthday cake ever, 100% recommend. Can also vouch for their delicious cheese bread that I've had before and I remember their service being lovely!!!

Oh, this place is good. Exceptionally good! I haven't had a scone this exciting in I can't remember how long. The earl grey + citrus sweet scone and the tomato parmesan savory scones were nothing short of incredible. Fluffy, muffin like interiors and perfectly baked. They flavors really sing! Can't wait to be back to try the breads and other scones! Absolutely worth the trip As a matter of personal preference I do wish the jalapeno cheddar rosette had more jalapenos... but not everyone is obsessed with spicy. Still tasty though!

This place is fantastic! Everything I’ve tried is a hit - especially the seed sourdough, brownies, shortbread, and scones. The staff are very warm and friendly. It’s a great bakery and stands out as a favourite in the neighborhood :)

Best artisan bakery in the area! While I've always been a fan of rustic, hard-crust, super chewy bread, the unique soft textures of bread in this place have won me over. After trying their seeded sourdough loaf and baguettes, I’ve made this my go-to spot for my weekly bread supply. Everything looks and tastes natural, which I really appreciate. Although I haven't explored the pastry section yet, the incredible aroma while shopping inside is tempting enough. The staff are warm and friendly, and they even offer to slice the loaf to your preferred thickness. I’m so glad I found this gem!
