I had an amazing experience with VAVA Cakes! From start to finish, the service was excellent — communication was smooth, clear, and very friendly. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. The design was flawless, and the attention to detail really stood out. On top of that, the flavor was incredible — moist, well-balanced, and not overly sweet at all. Everyone loved it. You can truly tell they care about both presentation and taste. I would 100% recommend VAVA Cakes for any special occasion and would definitely order again. Thank you for making this celebration extra special!

we bought the taro mochi cake for dad's birthday after positive experience with the oreo cake from here, but we were utterly disappointed with the taro mochi cake, it was very tasteless and there was too much mochi and little taro cream. the mochi did not taste good and was bit hard. No one like the cake at the party , it was overall a very disappointing cake for the price of $58 dollars.

I love Vava Cake for their great variety of beautiful and tasty cup cakes and chiffon cakes. Their chiffon cakes are super light with exact amount of sweetness; and the designs are eye-catching. You can either order for pick up in any of the 3 stores, or order for delivery; they offer delivery options to Oakville and Mississauga as well. The staff are very friendly and order/pick up process is very convenient.

Cathy and Mark were amazing and answered all my questions about the cakes. They packaged my cake and cupcakes wonderfully and I had a wonderful experience thanks to them two. I will definitely revisit again after this pleasant experience!

Updating my review from 1-star to 2-star after talking to customer support. The reason why I give such a low star review is because the wording in the cake looks rushed and without much thought. They make very beautiful cakes, and I am surprised they couldn’t arrange the words in a better composition that would fill the cake’s face. (I attached the reference I gave and the one they gave me, and you can see how on those pictures the wording is better arranged). I was expecting much more attention from a $150 cake. As for the cake itself, we ordered the Ube Mochi cake, and it was just OK. Had a couple friends that didn’t finish their cake, and nobody wanted to get another slice after finishing their first piece. They offered trying to fix the wording but that would have taken a couple hours, which I didn’t really have. They also offered a refund and other goodies for compensation, but I declined since we already ate the cake. Good customer service, which is why I changed my rate to 2-stars.
