Magic Man & J.J. Magic Shows Face Painting & Balloon Twisting

It was very bad. Period. One guy sat there like he was drunk, literally. His face was all red and was mumbling. For heavens sake, this is a magic show for the kids.. talk about being unprofessional. Came in to say they have already done a few shows this morning and has lost their voice?! Then don’t overbook yourself and keep yourself at your best for parties. In my mind I’m thinking, well they probably drank at one of those parties… We had a group of approx 15-20 people, with the majority of children. Our kids were not impressed. They struggled to complete ‘magic’.. it just felt like they were amateurs - incompetent and many inappropriate for children. They look tired, drunk.. really, and not knowing/too tired to think what to do next. I don’t often write reviews but I regret not knowing about them and spending money. It’s not even about the money… I honestly felt embarrassed for hiring them for our group of friends and children. I literally said sorry to my family and friends. I was SO embarrassed. What a waste of money and time. Not sure about those 5 star reviews, but if you read all the 1 star reviews I agree with all of them after my experience. I would like to give a true experience review, so I’ll tell you two things I did like. Their balloons were done nice and the children enjoyed that. Second, they came on time, brought their own music system and came to set up their own area so that was ok.

My Dad turned 95 this year which was a big one. Magic man and JJ came to entertain all the grandkids and great grandkids. At 95 you have a lot! If I could give more stars I would because they were incredible. The kids wanted more of the magic and balloon making. They were really good about listening to the kids when they asked for something special to be made. I know they made a lot of extra balloons too. They captivated their attention completely! I would highly recommend them for any party. My dad even had a special hat made for him too. The laughter and fun times are priceless. Thank you Magic Man and JJ for memories that last a lifetime. At 95 you never know how many more you’re going to get!

Would not recommend I hired them yesterday for my sons birthday party and what a disaster seem like he had no patience with the kids. The other guy didn’t do much just sat down, sneezed all over me very unprofessional and then when it came time to sing, happy birthday to my son, it had to be his way. His other partner had to send him to the car because he was being disrespectful if you guys are planning on hiring a magician, for your kids birthday party do not hire these guys waste of my money

I attended the birthday party mentioned below.. Magic Man & J.J delivered probably one of the most disappointing shows I’ve ever witnessed. Unfortunately, when they arrived the weather was not on our side as it started to rain. They suggested moving the party inside & approved of the space provided as an alternative. Once the “show” started, the kids were very excited but were shouted at several times by the two magicians to “calm down” in an unprofessional manner. “Magic Man” was not very magical as the tricks that were done were questionable. One trick involved an adult being blindfolded and handcuffed, the kids were prompted by “Magic Man” to shout that she was a “bad girl”, only to then have the handcuffed woman hold a balloon over her head and the magician thread a needle through it. The kids remained unimpressed throughout the show but were told by “Magic Man” to clap. In the hour they were there, they really focused on trying to keep the kids from yelling in excitement & did a total of maybe 4 “magic” tricks. The two magicians then proceeded to move the party outside and told one of the little girls she was so pretty & apologized for the comment by saying “sorry I’m recently divorced” as if that made any of that interaction okay to do. I believe they should not be working with kids as they don’t seem to have patience for them nor do I believe their tricks are anything but kind of boring. When it came time for cake. The host began to gather the kids and J.J began to sing a made up version of the song Happy Birthday on his guitar and was asked to stop 3 times before “Magic Man” stepped in and asked him to wait in his car. Again, witnessing this and having a child myself, I am not interested in the slightest to book these guys for her birthday. I suggest taking these reviews seriously as money was wasted hiring them.

WOWWWWWW Magic Man and JJ ARE AWESOME They really know how to engage with children & adults. They are confident and punctual! they truly do know their craft! If your thinking of entertainment do not hesitate twice to go with them! They give so much for such a great price too. You cannot go wrong with these two individuals! They will definitely leave an imprint at your party leaving everyone talking about them! Thank you MM and JJ
