cute pastry shop with lots of seating and a variety of bread and pastries. the pastries were good, but we found some of them lacked flavour, specially the kouign-amann, out of the pastries we ordered our particular favourite was the cinnamon roll.

Mouth wateringly good baked goods and espresso based drinks. They make the best kouign amann in the city. Even better than the ones I tried in Paris. I’ve tried the strawberry and roasted corn one and both were so good. Don’t skip on their drinks either! Their latte is so smooth and compliments the sweets well.

This was my first time coming here irl (I've had their pastries to-go from a friend before), and this is probably one of the best bakeries I've ever tried. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I don't usually like canelés bc every one I've eaten was always dry or super hard, but when I tried this one, it was so moist and the flavour was delicious and mild. It has changed my mind about canelés and I might be willing to try eating them again for the rest of my life lol. Highly recommend the kouign-amann, either the original or corn. Both are amazing. The sausage roll also is probably one of the best things. It sounds basic, but the sausage has bits of jalapeño and cheddar (which tbh is never my first choice of sausage, but why is it so good in the sausage roll) so it tastes a bit different, and the pastry is flaky and crisp. On top of that, they provide a brown butter mayo dip that I could probably just eat out the container lol. The only thing I wasn't completely loving was the cranberry oat cookie; the oats tasted a bit undercooked and that overwhelmed the rest of the cookie, but otherwise the cookie was super soft and moist. My friends and I also came this past weekend specifically for the sticky toffee pudding. I normally would never order this bc it sounds sickly sweet, but it was absolutely perfect. It was actually not *too* sweet, and they warm it up for you with a thick caramel-y sauce that I could probably also just eat like soup. It's their special so make sure you come and try it this month! I'm a bit depressed that I missed out on their chocolate cake last month so hopefully they bring it back 🥲

Incredibly bad coffee, while their prices match their bougie aesthetic, their product quality doesn't. Also I ordered a large for 7 dollars plus tip, and the server handed me this and said they don't do sizes after I'd paid. Sorry for not having a banana to compare, but it was about the size of my thumb (and not even filled up all the way). I'm not going to say don't visit, but please do so at your own discretion.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Best known for their transcendent kouign amanns, they're no slouch on literally anything else in their display case. The structure is marvellously delicate and crisp, with a light crunchiness thanks to the caramelized sugar on the bottom and sugar coating around the exterior, to be contrasted with the perfect amount of savoriness from the salt for a balanced bite. You'll be addicted to both the taste and the fluffy, pillowy soft interior that's super moist. Absolutely don't overlook their caneles either, the outside is caramelized to perfection, achieving a slightly nutty and maillard taste while the interior is, yet again, moist and packs a vanilla-custard flavour punch. There is no wrong option here, as everything is delicious. I find myself once back for their signature kouign amanns, maintaining the high quality and buttery flakiness expected from this divine pastry. However, this time it's filled with a luscious matcha pastry cream, generously coating each flaky layer within. It offers a delicate matcha earthiness without overpowering the original flavour, full of caramelized edges. For you chocolate lovers, the entremet is a rich and indulgent chocolate creation. It features a fudgy, moist sponge cake layered with a smooth, rich dark chocolate mousse and a crunchy base of chocolate nibs that adds a delightful textural contrast.
