I’ve been GF/V for years and this is the worst food I’ve ever had. We had the soft serve and the Nanaimo bar. Soft serve was disgusting, too sweet, melted and tasted like syrupy medicine. The Nanaimo wasn’t advertised as containing nuts, but we quickly realized it has walnuts or something in it. It was hard and junky. Not good quality food. It also smelled AWFUL in there. There r so many better places in the world to eat than this.

This is a good place to stop in for especially to take out and walk around the Kensington market or bringing home or for a gift. Place is clean and products are properly merchandised without any cross contamination. Products are tasty but a little on the pricy side. Overall for the gluten free audience this is a great place. If you don’t need their specific food requirements it would make more sense to try alternatives.

Gosh what can I say! Bunner's ily! My partner and I travelled 2 hours to come here and get some birthday treats! As a vegan finding baked goods this tasty is so hard but Bunner’s just hits the nail on the head! Service was great, the girl working was very sweet and patient! I would personally recommend the Nanaimo bar and the chocolate cupcake, oh my goodness, best cupcake I’ve ever had! My total was about $20 which is completely reasonable and a great value for money considering it’s all plant based. Thank you for a great experience Bunner’s!

We ordered a 2-tier wedding cake from Bunner's as part of our intimate wedding ceremony. My now husband, (who requires gluten-free and dairy-free restrictions) and I were so pleased with how beautiful, elegant,… and DELICIOUS our cake was! Before our wedding, we had a blast trying Bunners’ very generous and diverse tasting kit with so many flavours available. We landed on coconut cake with strawberry whipped cream filling and vanilla icing. Sharing a picture because words don’t do it justice. The cake was decadent, moist, and well-loved by our guests. We can’t wait to have it again on our one year anniversary!

Bunner’s Bakeshop should receive international acclaim for mastering desserts that are gluten and nut free and vegan. From the cinnamon buns to the cupcake frosting, everything at this bakery is fantastic. They make it look easy. Highly recommend!
