I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. Seems to be an ongoing issue with this company. I had a mermaid booked for my daughters mermaid party and they decided to call to say our mermaid had to cancel due to illness 1 hour before the party. My daughter was heartbroken. No back up no nothing… I will not be attempting a booking from here again.

My friends got us this experience as a wedding gift, we showed up for our booked time and no one was there at the entrance and all doors were locked. We called the number to be informed their call service was in Ottawa or Montreal (Not in Toronto) so they did not have contact info for the instructors. Waste of time & money. Did not get the experience.

We were all so excited to celebrate my friend’s bachelorette party by mermaiding. Our friend who organized was in contact with the company several times leading up to the day. Even called on the day off to let them know we were coming. Upon arrival the instructor was not there, and when we called the organizer we were told that our reservation “slipped from their schedule.” Very disappointing.

Save your time. Save your money. My sister booked for her birthday back in April and they failed to call and inform them about pool closures. Come back to give them a second chance for my sister bachelorette and again they can’t get it together. We called and re-confirmed multiple times to avoid another issue. We show up, no instructor. After calling and struggling to get a hold of someone we are told that or booking slipped their mind? Complete morons unless you feel like wasting your time, avoid at all costs!

My 16-year-old daughter joined her first AquaMermaid class in Toronto with Marielle last weekend. She was so excited to meet her hero, after having watched so many of Marielle's amazing mermaid tutorials on YouTube! The class was so much fun, tailored to many different levels, and with a super positive, inclusive approach. As soon as we left, she asked to go back! Thank you Marielle for making her feel so welcome and for creating this space for mermaids to come, learn, and play together! :)
