Maria is so lovely to work with!!!! Our cake was not only beautiful, but so so delicious. I ate cake for breakfast the day after our wedding 😂 I am so grateful she uses healthy, whole, organic/local ingredients as this is super important to me and can be so hard to find! Maria the cake was absolutely wonderful, 💯. Everyone loved the flavour. It tasted so good. Everyone was stunned by how beautiful the cake was. My partner's mom asked where I found this place. My mom said it is too beautiful to cut, when it was time to cut the cake. I didn't know where to cut lol. You're truly one talented artist

Maria did such a phenomenal job on our wedding cake! I have a big sweet tooth and it was important to me to have something both beautiful and delicious, and we were not disappointed. Our guests said that this was the best wedding cake they ever had, and thought the cake was a piece of art itself that matched well with our venue (the AGH). I would definitely recommend working with Maria to make your wedding cake dreams a reality!

Ordered a couple of times, first time had a good experience. However last order did not go as well. The cake looked absolutely stunning with so much amazing detail. However, taste was lacking the same effect. Flavours ordered were strawberry vanilla and chocolate caramel. I had over 20 guests and this was the only desert I planned to serve and not a single person ate it after trying the first bite. After spending $450 I was really disappointed to throw out almost all of the cake from plates. Even more disappointing is when I sent an email to Maria giving her my honest feedback, sad to say I never even got a reply back. It’s unfortunate but I won’t be ordering from here in the future.

Maria of Sweet Avenue Cakery was absolutely wonderful. The cake was beautiful, the sugar flowers were exquisite, and each of the tiers (different flavours) were delicious! We wanted a cake that tasted as good as it looked, and Maria made that happen. She was transparent about the cost, the timing, the delivery, etc., and made the whole process easy. Our wedding was beyond her usual delivery range, but there were no problems getting it to the venue. My only regret is that everyone loved the cake so much that we didn't have any leftovers!
