DiscoveryLand Camp - Richmond Hill

My 5-year-old and my 11-year-old nephew absolutely loved this camp! They haven’t stopped talking about all the fun things they did every day — sports, stem projects, and awesome fieldtrips! They especially loved going to the splash pad and playground. They’ve been to other camps before, but they wore their Discovery Land camp t-shirts with pride and couldn’t stop telling everyone how great the camp was. There’s lotsof equipment and the activities are really varied and educational. We’re so thankful to the staff and camp managers for being so organized, welcoming, and flexible with our requests. We’ll definitely be back next year!

I used to go to discoveryland camp back when it was still an overnight camp and I loved it! Went there from 2006 every year until 2015! It was always very fun with an amazing atmosphere and people around you. Many friends I met there I’m still close with to this day. They had leadership courses to help you get out of your comfort zone and many other fun activities throughout the day. Unfortunately I am too old for camp now but my younger brother continues the tradition of going there every summer and he’s loving just as much as I did back when I was his age.

My daughter attended Discovery Land Camp in Richmond Hill last year, and we have already signed up for four weeks for the upcoming season. Hopefully, it will bring as much joy and excitement as she experienced last year! My child enjoys the funny obstacle courses, the swimming pool, and the days at Lake Wilcox. As a parent, I appreciate the excellent communication and organization of the camp day and the well-planned field trips.

My grandson attended Discovery Land camp for several weeks and had a wonderful time each week! Events with costumes were his favorites. The camp provides a variety of activities, STEM is mixed in with other activities such as sports and art. So, the children are not bored by the end of the week. Also, he liked the last day of each week because of the pizza party :) The councilors' support was amazing too! Thank you for all teachers and organizers! We signed him up for the Richmond Hill camp location for this summer and he is looking to having a great fun :)

I'm so happy that Discovery land camp is now in Richmond Hill! My son attended their Thornhill location last year, and he had the best time at this summer camp. He did 3 weeks 3 themes, and came home excited each day. He loved the games, STEAM, and camp cheers. Also, he enjoyed scavenger hunts with fun riddles. This location works better for me this year, so I signed up for all 5 weeks. The weekly swimming and field trips sound like real summer fun!
