Ichiban Bakery

Such a lovely little bakery! Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and everything looks (and smells) amazing. My partner had the almond berry tart, super fresh and full of flavour. We’ll definitely come back for more treats and coffee next time. 🍰☕

Freshest pastries I've had in a while. The texture on the plain croissant was incredible. The chef gave us some gelato to try as well as the house cream cheese and they all just melt in your mouth. Shop had a very warm vibe too - perfect complement to a cold day

There was the most sweet woman there on Family Day. She was excited about sharing her love of the treats!! Our favorites ended up being the Almond Chocolate Croissant and Strawberries & Cream Shortcake. The tarts have an honorable mention though.

Really disappointed with what they had. Maybe I was expecting a Japanese bakery since it says Japanese Cream Cheese Bun and the name Ichiban is widely used in Japanese stores. Most items didn't interest me whatsoever, going to a specialized bakery will always be a better bet. Update: Tried the only "Japanese" item. It was bad, tasted like two ingredients, a light sugary crepe surrounding 150g of cream cheese. Don't recommend going there. Surprised it's a chain.

The chocolate cream cheese bun was light, fluffy, full of chocolate cheese. The cream cheese was so light and airy. This was a little gem we discovered during a walk and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly as well 😊
