Absolutely delicious!😍🤤 The lady at the front was also super friendly and kind! (Don’t mind the state of them in the photo, they fumbled around in the box a bit before I got them home.😅) The Banana Trompe l’oeil was my favourite bite. It tasted so delicious! The Mango Trompe l’oeil was easily the best version of this dessert I have ever had. The mango inside was fresh and sweet. The Honey Cake was good. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the flavour is unique and tasty! Not too sweet either! The Acorn Dessert was soo yum. Coffee & hazelnut heaven. The Black Forest was very good. I loved the different textures and the flavours complimented each other very well! My least favourite bite was the Macaron Trompe l’oeil. Only because it had some chewy fruit inside (I am on the spectrum so I have sensory issues with foods). It still tasted amazing despite that. I cannot recommend this place enough! Everything is so good. 🔥

The “Highest Rated” tag on Google Maps is absolutely accurate! It’s one of those rare Red Note recommendations that truly lives up to the hype — zero disappointments! My friends in Ottawa also said this place is amazing!! Check the little labels for prices — they also list the ingredients and components, so just pick what you like best. After looking around, the hazelnut one is truly exceptional — it’s basically a walking Nutella! Who wouldn’t love that? The combination of coffee mousse and sweetness brings the flavor to another level. And the Basque cheesecake… wow. You can find Basque cheesecakes everywhere, but none of them achieve the same rich and velvety texture as this one. So many people have said this is the best Basque cheesecake they’ve ever had. A few customers even came in asking how long it keeps if they take it to go — Elina patiently explained that it tastes best today or tomorrow, since the mousse texture won’t be the same after that. Also, Elina herself is absolutely stunning and elegant! You can immediately tell she’s Elina — the Le Cordon Bleu chef and the owner! She was so happy and appreciative when I sent her the photos I took with my iPhone. (There are also great spots nearby — the Royal Canadian Mint, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the National Gallery — perfect for exploring before walking back here for dessert!)

My takeaway from this place is that the fruit-themed pastries were the star of the show; however, there were multiple options. My favourite one was the mango and hazelnut. I've tried the clementine, the pear, and the black forest. However, those did not stand out to me. I prefer the ones from “Mon Secret Gourmand” in Montreal. Nonetheless, not a bad interpretation of these sweet treats. The cheesecake was amazing though! Definitely recommend it if you have not had them before. (Mango Passion Fruit was my personal favourite)

Absolutely loved my experience at Elina Patisserie! Such an incredibly cozy and elegant place with truly refined desserts. The open kitchen concept makes it even more special - you can watch the entire preparation process while enjoying beautiful pastries and an excellent cup of coffee. Everything was simply perfect, from the presentation to the attention to detail and warm hospitality. You can truly feel the passion and high standards behind every dessert. It feels more like fine dining in pastry form than just a regular café experience. A hidden gem with outstanding quality and atmosphere. Bravo to the entire team!👏👏👏

Very delicious desserts — the huge selection makes your eyes wander. The coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very pleasant. When you walk into the café, the air is filled with the aroma of chocolate and baked goods, just like in childhood. I wholeheartedly recommend it. 🤗
