Paper Planes Play Cafe

My daughter has been coming to Paper Planes Play Café since she was just two months old. Over that time we’ve had so many play dates, met wonderful new friends, and truly found a little home away from home. Marlow, the owner, always greets us with a kind smile and is ready to make this busy mama a hot latte whenever we visit. The space is welcoming, clean, and perfect for both kids and parents. We recently celebrated my daughter’s second birthday here and couldn’t have been happier. It was the perfect place for a party the kids played while the parents relaxed and chatted. Marlow was behind the scenes the whole time making sure everything stayed tidy and that everyone felt welcome. If you haven’t visited yet, I highly recommend it. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of their delicious drinks while you’re there!

we had our daughters 2nd birthday here today. the owner ( my wife dealt with the booking so im not sure of her name ) was excellent and helpful throughout the whole day. he kids, mixed in ages from 1.5 yrs to 6 yrs , all had fun playing. we think we will definitely book again for her 3rd birthday. we really appreciated having a place to bring everyone and have the kids playing and occupied. the coffee was nice too and all the adults were able to gather and talk in groups while their kids play. highly recommend to other parents in the area!

The kids and I adore Paper Planes. My baby and toddler both love the space and mama gets to enjoy a delicious coffee while they play. The space is so cute and very inviting. Each play session is capped at a certain number of people so it's never too overcrowded. There's lots of comfy spaces for parents to sit (and you should actually get to sit because your kids will play somewhat independently!) The owner is lovely. I always have great conversations with the owner and other parents- it's a great place for connection and a chill morning or afternoon. Just all in all the perfect activity to do with your babies, tots and young kids.

Recently had a very terrifying experience while I was at Paper Planes for a birthday party. Walking in the place is adorable the wooden toys are very cute. I found it strange that new walkers had to remove their shoes but everyone was following the rules so I didn't think much of it. The establishment is geared for babies and children 0-4 so as a Nana I thought it would have been baby proofed and perfect for a birthday party. Walking to see another baby a baby girl 1 years old tripped over a mat right infront of a table that wasn't baby proofed at her birthday party.The birthday girl was bleeding screaming crying all the guests were in shock. Her Eyebrow caught the pointy part of a table requiring 4 stitches. She spent her birthday in the emergency department. The event was avoidable, had the table been babyproofed. The venue rental cost was reimbursed, and Meghan the women working when it occurred appeared to be in shock when it occurred and was very empathetic. Post for awareness to prevent future horrific incidents. The photos are of the table and the mat placed right infront. If I am correct there were 3 of these tables at the venue that should have been babyproofed.

My happy place! Coffee, wine, snacks, a clean open space for your littles to explore, a social environment to bring the community together and you don’t have to clean up after your child! Very grateful Paper Planes opened in this city and highly recommend to all parents, caregivers, etc.
