Worst entertainment company I’ve ever dealt with!! DO NOT book! We booked a Ded Moroz and Snigurachka a few weeks ago to come on New Year’s Eve, as I was having 12 children over for a family and friends party! It was confirmed that they would arrive at 9pm. The day of the party, they asked me for full payment before the entertainers arrived at my house. A few hours after I paid I got a phone call from one of the entertainers and she said they cannot arrive at 9pm as scheduled as they are running behind and they can only come at 11pm!! I was shocked and disappointed so she asked if I wanted a refund, and I said no we will wait as all the kids are super excited, as well as all the parents that made this happen. A Few hours after that, they called again and said that they can now only come at 11:30, because traffic was bad! It was about 10pm at this point and we checked the traffic from their location and it was 27 minutes! Clearly, they did not want to come and we’re giving us the runaround!! We told them it’s fine come at 11:30 because at this point the kids are waiting! They said ok but we will come for only 10-15 minutes, which was absurd as we just paid $350 for a half hour of entertainment and now they were only offering half the time! Again we said okay, just come!! They called back again and said one out of the two Entertainers cannot attend!! This was a nightmare!! So many excuses because they wanted me to cancel!! They kept offering a refund without even acknowledging the fact that they just ruined our kids night on such a special occasion! Awful customer service!! We were all so disappointed! And we will make sure to tell as may people possible to avoid this place!!!

**Do NOT book with this company!!! Liars and crooks!!!** We booked Ded Moroz and Snegurochka from Fairyland for our New Year’s Eve party for 12 excited children. We paid $350 upfront for a 9:00–9:30pm visit to our friend’s house in Vaughan. At 7:45 pm, we got a call saying they couldn’t make it at 9:00pm and could only come at 11:00 pm, or we could take a refund. With the kids already waiting, we had no choice but to agree. After 10:00 pm, Ded Moroz (real name: Vadim R) called again saying they now won’t make 11:00pm and would come at 11:30 pm due to “traffic from Scarborough to Vaughan.” When we checked the GPS ourselves, it showed a 27-minute drive, maybe it would take 40mins maximum, but the excuses became ridiculous. When we called the owner of Fairyland, there was no apology, just more excuses. She even tried suggesting how wonderful it would be that Ded Moroz ring in the New Year with champagne with us. This is NOT what we hired them for, this was supposed to be entertainment for the kids!!! At 10:30 pm, he called back again and we were given three absurd options: 1. Possibly arrive at 11:30pm 😳 2. A refund plus a “discount for next year” 🙄 3. Come tomorrow (January 1st) 😂😂 Completely unacceptable. Who needs their services tomorrow or next year when our party was that night?! 🤦‍♀️ At this point we told them to just come as soon as they can. He said he’s going to call his manager to ask if they can take the 407 to get to us faster lol! There was no phone call back, so I called back at 10:50pm and calls went unanswered. When we finally reached him, we were told Snegurochka was no longer available for us LOL! It just kept getting better and better, and then the truth came out: they overbooked, got delayed, and now couldn’t make it to us at all! They abandoned us at the 11th hour (literally). We were left with 12 devastated kids at 11:00pm on New Year’s Eve. We called the The owner and she promised to call back immediately. She never did. Instead, she sent a generic apology blaming traffic, with zero accountability or concern for the children or families. Worst service we’ve ever experienced! We should have listened to the other bad reviews. Save yourself the stress and disappointment and do NOT book this company!!!

We invited Fairyland party helpers for my child's 10th birthday for Harry potter theme. We had multiple conversations about the age group of kids and the kind of entertainment available. Everytime I asked, I was promised that there is no way kids would get bored. Unfortunately, the two entertainers (looked like teenagers) that came had no energy whatsoever. They didn't have the art to make sure kids showed enthusiasm. It felt like kids were participating only because they had to.. With no other choice. I was really really looking forward to the entertainment section as this was a surprise party for my little Potterhead who celebrated her big milestone birthday. So disappointed :( I spend $300 on this and it was NOT worth at all. They maybe ok for 4/5 year olds but definitely not for older kids.

Thank you so much for all you have done for Penguin Private School. We have already hosted two events with the help of your company, both of which have been an absolute success! Our students truly enjoyed themselves each time and still talk about how much they loved it! Starting with beautiful costumes, fun interactive games (that even made all of our teachers dance), and above all, amazing actors, your company brought several fairytales to life for every student at Penguin Private School. We thank you for your professionalism, your flexibility and creative approach to children’s entertainment. We look forward to working with you for future events and parties!

I would give this place a one star, but in all fairness the staff was friendly and the kids enjoyed the party. That being said, the first thing I was told when entering the place is the fact that the only washroom is broken and not to be used for "#2". They apparently have another washroom in another part of the building for those guests who need a washroom for "#2". The washroom was in bad condition without any toilet paper. They also made sure to announce the "#1 and #2" rule on the speaker, which was embarrassing to our guests. The rest of the place was not in a better condition. There was dirt and leftover food everywhere and the coffee maker water reservoir was so dirty that nobody even bothered having coffee. The juice that was included in our package came from a bottle that appeared to have been used before, probably at another party. When the party was over, we literally had minutes to get all our belongings out and had to move everything to the front lobby so the they can clear up the space for the next party, instead of allowing us reasonable time to leave without being pressured. I have participated in numerous birthday parties for both my daughters and their friends, and this place clearly needs some work done to bring it to an acceptable level, especially for the price they charge. The issues I raised are not an isolated case and in fact have been ongoing judging by other reviews.
