Art Spot

Many thanks to Jenny and Sonja of The Artspot in Nobleton. I’ve always wanted to take pottery wheel throwing classes and was ecstatic when I come across this gem of an art studio located in the heart of Nobleton. Jenny is a great instructor and saved a few of my “creations. I highly recommend attending a workshop and let your inner artist soar…Sonja’s studio offers not only wheel pottery but also painting, hand building pottery and even mini wheel pottery. They have classes for all ages, for singles or groups and even parties. Thank you Sonja and Jenny for your patience and assistance and for allowing me to follow my whims. Six out of Five stars.

We recently held my daughter's 5th birthday at Art Spot, and loved it so much that I attended a workshop the following weekend! The birthday party was perfect. I approached Sonja with a theme, and she suggested a lovely art project for the kids. She took care of everything, including all art supplies, pizza, drinks, paper plates and even a cupcake stand. It was a wonderfully unique experience at an incredible value. Our 5-year-old came home saying it was the best birthday party ever, and feedback from her friends and their parents was the same! The workshop I attended was just as great. It was a relaxing, much-needed opportunity to step out of my day-to-day as a parent of little ones and create for the sake of creating. Sonja has created an absolutely wonderful, welcoming offering for children and adults alike. My family and I can't recommend it enough, and we already can't wait to go back!

Wanted to do something different and booked the Mug Makers Class for my husband and I. We had such a great time, the 2 hours flew! It’s in such a cute spot, the studio is decorated so beautifully and Sonia is a great instructor. Would totally come back and bring our son once he’s old enough to take her classes/camps.

We celebrated my birthday at this place by booking a ladies' paint nite. I love that this is a local spot and it did not disappoint. Our artist host, Nicole, was engaging, patient, supportive, and talented. She was also accommodating to us arriving late to our booked time and let us run over the scheduled time so we can finish. That is the difference between local establishment and a chain/franchise. We play to book a pottery night for our next event. I would recommend this place for kid or adult events. We had a fantastic time. Thanks, Nicole!

We had my daughter’s birthday party at Art Spot in Nobleton, and it was absolutely perfect! The owner, Sonja, is amazing—so kind, welcoming, and chill. She thought of everything, from tablecloths to coffee and water for the parents, which made hosting stress-free. The kids had such a fun time painting their Sanrio art, and Sonja made it easy for them. They were all worried their paintings wouldn’t turn out well, but she guided them in a way that made them proud of their creations. My daughter and her friends had an amazing experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
