TRAPPED Mississauga Escape Room

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Trapped Mississage! Our host, Selma, was absolutely amazing and really made the experience top-tier from start to finish. The venue is incredibly well set up. The puzzles were clever, the environment was immersive, and everything flowed smoothly. It was clear a lot of effort went into making the room genuinely fun. We were laughing and problem-solving the whole time. This is a must-do experience! So fun!

We were really excited going into this experience, and the start was especially interesting. The room begins with players split into two different prison cells, with two people in each, which made for a unique and engaging setup right away. That said, the overall flow of the room wasn’t always clear. While I understand that everything is meant to be a puzzle, most escape rooms tend to guide you a bit more clearly toward the next objective. We found ourselves needing to ask for hints several times, and unfortunately, there were moments where the game masters unintentionally led us in the wrong direction. It seemed like they weren’t always fully following our progress, which added confusion and caused us to spend time reworking puzzles we had already solved. There were also a few technical issues where elements we had completed didn’t function properly or didn’t provide the correct information. That was frustrating, especially when it meant asking for hints despite having solved the clue correctly. Even with those challenges, we still had a really fun time overall. The concept is strong and the experience was enjoyable. It seems like this particular room may have been recently redone, so it might still be a bit of a work in progress in terms of flow and functionality.

Honestly, this was a huge letdown. First of all, it’s extremely overpriced for what you get. The whole place smelled like weed, which made the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional right from the start. We did the “Medieval Prison” maze and it was very short and honestly just dumb. It felt rushed, low effort, and not well thought out. There wasn’t much detail, no real scares, and it was over before it even felt like it started. For the price they’re charging, I expected something way more immersive and higher quality. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I must say… they have a terrific team there at the Dundas Street Trapped location… both Alex and Maria made my daughter’s birthday go seamless… they made the escape room experience very engaging for the kids who were doing it for the first time….much appreciate your efforts and dedication
