Heart of Cake

I’ve ordered 2 cakes from Lizzie so far and cannot wait to order again in future. She’s nailed them both and they’ve come out more gorgeous than the inspo photos! The cakes not only look amazing but also taste delicious. Lizzie was a pleasure to work with, really responsive and she made the pick up process so smooth. Can’t recommend Heart of Cake enough!

Lizzie made me a SHOWSTOPPING vegan heart cake, cat-themed. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, with an edible handpainted portrait of my cat.+ (the likeness was spot on). The chocolate Oreo cake was deliciously very light, fluffy and chocolatey, similar to a red velvet texture, which I love. The cake was ready for me on collection and I was provided all details to keep care of it. Thanks so much for making an ordinary birthday so special!

We ordered a 3 tier vegan wedding cake for our wedding November 2024 and it was the best decision we ever made. My wife had previously ordered a cake from Lizzie and so we knew it was going to be good. Lizzie brought our vision to life and was able to cater to our needs of a different flavoured tiers. Lizzie communicated effectively with us throughout and carefully delivered our cake to us on the day and it arrived beautifully. We cannot thank Lizzie enough as we had previously spoken with several companies who told us a vegan tiered cake was not possible. The cake was so tasty and more than 6 months later we are still enjoying it as we froze some. Cannot recommend Lizzie enough!! She is our go to person for any vegan / nut free cakes !! The best vegan cake I have ever eaten 😍 I have been buying cakes from Heart of Cake since they first opened and cannot get enough of them! My only choice for any celebration that needs a cake. Lizzie is so kind and creative, she is a pleasure to work with. All of her cakes are made fresh and by hand and it feels great to support an independent small business ran by a lovely vegan. I’d suggest ordering in advance to ensure that there is enough time to get your cake perfect but I have never been disappointed and recommend them to anyone - vegan or not!

Lizzie made us the most incredible, delicious cake for our wedding day. We absolutely loved it, and so did the guests! They couldn't believe it was vegan. Do not hesitate to book this amazing baker for your event - it was worth every penny and I'm already looking for an excuse to order another cake.
