Happy Campers was by far the best activity I did with my daughter on my maternity leave. It is the quintessential mom and baby experience. We looked forward to every Tuesday - it was the highlight to both our weeks. I signed up for 3 class packs, completing a total of 18 weeks of classes. We had so much fun singing, playing, making art and meeting other babies and moms. I’ve kept all of my daughter’s art and will cherish it forever. Chelsea and Heather are thoughtful, passionate and enthusiastic and made my daughter feel special. I will miss this era of motherhood while on maternity leave so much. I highly recommend registering for their classes - it is the best thing you will do for you and your little one.

Rivers and Meadows is an absolute gem! Chelsea and Heather have created something truly special — a warm, open, and free space where babies and toddlers can explore, play, and thrive. It’s not just for the little ones either; they’ve built a supportive and welcoming community for parents too. My daughter and I love it here — it's our favourite place to go, no matter the occasion. We've made lifelong friends and so many beautiful memories. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re genuinely missing out on something magical.

Our family started attending Rivers & Meadows classes this year, and it instantly became one of our favourite places in Hamilton. Chelsea and Heather are so welcoming, kind, and genuinely passionate about what they do, you feel it the moment you walk in. Our daughter asks to go every day. It’s also a great spot to pop in for kids’ gifts, and I can never resist signing myself up for their adult craft hangs, too. 10/10, recommend to all of my mom friends.

Rivers & Meadows is what you get when two makers have put their expertise, personality, and sacrifice into an endeavour. I am sooo glad I inquired with Chelsey and Heather about whether they do birthday parties - they sure do! The one-hour story time, puppets, songs, and parachute play package we decided on was the *perfect* little organized entertainment for the 6-7 kiddos in attendance at our 2-year-old’s recent birthday party! It was a casual backyard barbecue and these ladies helped make it so much more memorable and wholesome. The kids (aged 2-6) were magnetized and it gave the adults a chance to socialize or to enjoy the performance alongside the kiddos. Heather and Chelsey are both so creative, charismatic, and caring. They really engage with and nurture your child with their whole hearts. You can see how gifted and passionate they are. Rivers & Meadows is a gift to this city, and my experience of raising my child here would not be as rich without them as a resource. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The Happy Campers class has been a wonderful experience for both my son and I. From the moment we walk in, the environment feels so warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. My son feels completely comfortable leaving my side to explore the space - something he doesn’t do in other group environments. It’s amazing to watch him open up and explore so freely. Chelsey and Heather do a fantastic job creating a safe and creative space. We always leave with that feel-good feeling, which I think speaks volumes to the effort and passion they pour into each class. I highly recommend Rivers and Meadows to any parent looking for a fun and enriching class to share with their child!
