Black Knight Games

Visited for the first time recently to pick up some dice I saw on their website. I've always heard good things about Black Knight and I was excited to visit. They have so many cool products and the staff are so friendly. I picked up a miniature spider but as I was still browsing, I noticed it had a broken leg, when I asked if I could get a little discount because of it, the gentleman was happy to accommodate. I'll definitely be returning!

Black Knight hosted a birthday party for our 10 year old who wanted to play D&D with his friends. Black Knight was very accommodating to our timing and Alex DMed an engaging one shot, taking our requests and fleshing things out. He was very patient and kind, taking into account the varying experience in the group. Moreover, the store was very generous in what they provided for the party, giving everyone some nice little surprises!

You guys rock! Love checking out your epic stockpile of old-school MTG. I’m always finding the perfect additions to my decks! Also thanks for the welcome decks, playing Magic has become a fun “extracurricular” activity for some of our students and parents!

The people here seem really really nice which is why its unfortunate they only get 3 stars. I came in to sell a bunch of MTG cards from years and years ago because I wasnt playing with them and figured they could be off to better homes and maybe I would recoup some costs from the old hobby. I told them this and advised me they can only accept cards if accepted through a buy-list online. They made sure they didnt shoo me away and said I was more than welcome to sit in the gaming hall and do it on my phone through their website. Cool! Super down to accommodate because i get its annoying to look through and they have an online function updated to their needs. But the website was so poorly laid out and clunky. The "Sell to Us" wasnt in an obvious place and it was clearly only designed to sell one card at a time. I did attempt the card sell function but it shut me out and I barely got through 5 cards because it kept redirecting me. Plus I had to create an account and the specifics of the cards I had to look for were foreign to me at this point. Its a shame that there wasnt anyone who was able, or willing, to just sit down and skim the cards with me. If they are bulk, they are bulk. But to bee-line around it because of tedium seems like poor form. I may still try and do this online via computer, but chances are slim. Anyways. They are nice and people were having fun and enjoying themselves, so cant discount them for that. May not be great for outsiders tho.

10/10 experience. The customer service is exceptional and the atmosphere is immaculate. The lovely individual in the knit top with the cherries went above and beyond on Dec 22 to help me pick out board games for my very difficult to shop for family. I will absolutely be back in the future!
