I went to school with Carmelo, Sam's son. Sam's Queenston Bakery is legendary in the East end. Best Italian baked goods, made with that true Sicilian authenticity that taste better than even what your Nona used to make. We loved when Carmelo brought canolis to class. Talk about a bargaining chip to get good grades! If I was a teacher he's getting a full scholarship.

The best ever. My family has been buying from Sam’s since well before I was born, and we continue to, to this day. Best Italian pastries I’ve ever had, nothing else comes close.

We know people that travel long distances for these and for good reason. Having tried cannoli from all over (yes, all over the world, NY, US and in Italy), Sam’s has the best. In addition to cannoli, his other pastries are delicious and his cakes are made to perfection. If you haven’t tried Sam’s Bakery in Hamilton… you must!!

I am from Toronto but I have come to learn about this place because I work at a dealership where we have a lot Italians as cumstomers and employees. This place they said are known for their best tasting Cannoli's. So we really drove 1hr 20mins just to try for ourselves. The hype was real! The ricotta cheese filling was creamy (better for me if sweetness is lessened a bit but just the same still very good), the pastry shell were soft yet crunchy and fresh. We also got their custard filled cannoli's which I found a little too sweet and the portugese tarts which I feel were my second best. The drive was worth it and it really earned its name being "The Best". Make sure you bring cash as they only accept this method of payment.
