Reptilia Vaughan

I visited Reptilia Vaughan today and absolutely loved it! The zoo has lots of species. You can see everything from snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles and alligators to frogs and salamanders. The highlights for me were definitely the large lizards, snakes, and crocodilians. They also run small presentations every hour where you can touch a couple of animals, and at 1:45 PM you can watch the feeding of their big red tegu — super cool experience. Tickets are $20 + tax for adults, and you can also buy a feeding experience: $15 for the small lizard, $20 for the medium one, and $25 for the big (I touched her!). I left with total childlike excitement — such a great place to visit.

Reptilia Zoo and Education Centre Vaughn is a 25,000-square-foot, premier indoor reptile zoo and conservation centre housing over 250 species, including snakes, crocodiles, and lizards. It offers an interactive, educational experience for families, featuring live shows, daily feedings, and guided tours, operating year-round. The centre emphasizes education regarding habitat preservation and the protection of endangered species. Reptilia hosts birthday parties, seasonal camps, and educational programs for groups, including a gift shop for souvenirs here at 2501 Rutherford Rd, Concord, Ontario, Canada.

I'm not into reptiles but after visiting this place, a closer look find them interesting and soooo cute! I recommend you to visit and bring the kids with you. I'm sure they will enjoy this place as well! 👍🏻 The staff is also great! Also check the time for some free shows.

Perfect place for toddlers and young children, some of the enclosures are up higher which makes it hard for toddles to view on their own or if you are wheelchair bound. Lots of shows available and you can see more than one in your visit if you time it right.

Had a really good time here and got to watch the show which runs every hour. We were able to pet some different turtles and snakes and watch some of their feeding times too! Not busy on Sunday and finished the whole place within an hour. Great price for the reptile zoo!
