Crock A Doodle Ajax

Had a really great time! It was relaxing, creative, and something different to do with friends. The staff were friendly and explained everything clearly, so it was easy to jump in even if you're not artsy. There were lots of pieces and paint options, and it was genuinely fun and low-stress.

Our group of 4 had a very good experience here. It is a great activity for school aged children that also appeals to adults. Takes about 60-90 minutes. We walked in without an appointment and there was plenty of space to accommodate us; looks like there's room for about 6-8 small groups plus a private room in the back. We got a quick overview from the staff person of how it worked and then we got started. Shelves were stacked with all shapes and sizes of crockery items from which to select. Nice variety of practical objects like mugs, plates, spoon rests, piggy banks, etc., and also items like animals and holiday themed decorations. The pieces we picked were about $30-$35 each + tax. The price includes the use of the space including the supplied paints, brushes, etc., and they fire it for you - our pick up time, to collect our finished items, was scheduled for one week later. My one gripe is that the pricing on the shelf was wrong for one of the items we selected to paint. Of course I only figured this out at the very end because you pay when you're done. The tag on the shelf said $20, but after paying I checked the receipt and saw I was charged $30. I showed the staff person the price on the shelf displaying $20, at which point I expected them to refund the extra $10 (honour the $20 price), but they only apologized. I expressed my disappointment and the staff said they'd remove the erroneous price tag from the shelf, which really didn't help me. I should have pressed further for a resolution but I walked away. Aside from the price discrepancy ruining the end, we enjoyed the afternoon painting.

Took my mom here for her 65th birthday and all I can say is wow!!! What a fun time we had! The place is very clean and we were lucky to come on a quiet and chill day. The girl working was so helpful with all of our questions and I highly recommend this spot for any date night or even if you are by yourself and wanting to decompress. I can’t wait to see what our final pieces look like… I might just become a regular here!!

Went with the family, and had a blast painting. Lots of fun and good for family bonding. The staff explained everything and supported us very well. Highly recommended!

I brought a friend and the two of us had a wonderful time. My second visit I painted a coffee tumbler, we had a great time painting our cups and today I picked up both orders. Ian was there today to get my order and he remembered my name from the first visit, Will be going back soon to do another fun project.
